Sea omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexanoic acid) are important to stay healthy and balance its omega-6/3 ratio as they regulate inflammatory processes in the body. But what does that mean in practice? EPA helps maintain normal blood pressure and blood lipid levels. It also helps maintain healthy heart function. The DHA allows for the proper functioning and development of the brain and helps maintain normal vision.

NORSAN Omega-3 Capsules includes a natural fish oil – i.e. not conc
entry – which contains a complex of more than 50 fatty acids. The extraction and purification of our fish oil is carried out smoothly so that
preserve the natural structure of fish fatty acids. The difference between a natural fish oil and a concentrated oil lies in the fact that, in a concentrated oil, the natural fatty acid structure of fish oil is modified by various chemical processes in order to artificially concentrate omega-3 fatty acids. In the current state of
little is known about the assimilation by the organism of a concentrated fish oil (i.e. chemically treated). Consumption of natural and unconcentrated fish oil, such as that contained in NORSAN Omega-3 Capsules, produces an effect similar to that obtained by fish consumption, but without pollutants, PCBs, heavy metals.
NORSAN fish oil is perfectly well tolerated thanks to its freshness and superior quality. Its smell and taste are good indicators, and NORSAN Omega-3 Capsules do not cause reflux or annoying fish discharges. In order to ensure the freshness of our oil, it does not pass more than four hours between catching and processing the fish. The non-aggressive and unique process of treatment and purification guarantees the superior quality of NORSAN fish oil.
Natural wild fish oil
The fish oil contained in NORSAN Omega-3 Capsules comes from wild fish caught sustainably. It is the same oil used in the manufacture of our product NORSAN Omega-3 Total, which has already been widely proven. NORSAN fish oil is extracted directly from fish flesh and not as a by-product of fish liver. The fish used are small fish from wild and sustainable fishing such as sardine, mackerel and anchovy. Barely caught, fish are immediately chilled and treated on the boat. Fishing is subject to strict Norwegian directives and is certified as "Friends of the Sea". Fish oil is then purified and removed from pollutants, PCBs and heavy metals and is subject to the strict Norwegian regulations.
